LONG LIVE THE MEGA-POST!
You should be able to view it again, but Masako had to shut off the comments at…
3821.
She had to delete one spam comment to get it viewable again (link).
Please, let’s hear a big round of applause for all of you who posted in the Mega-Post and kept it alive for a year and four months. Please use this comment thread to post your fondest memories of the post with the most…
the Mega-Post.
That was a big drop, now have a sprained ankle and brain.
Or was that sprained previously?
Congenitally sprained.
Or just genitally?
Can you genially sprain something?
How nice would it be to bring the essences of our preceding posts together, Steve?
Anything I can to do help. Or harm. Depends on the day.
Speaking of harm, is Sean Penn going to New Zealand? I’m sure the Haitians are tired of him.
Don’t say that: my mates have just moved there to get away from it all (‘it’ here meaning self-deluded hypocritical windbags).
BroMu,
Was it an earthquake or just a typical Kent booze up?
‘Twas a chavalance.
Or even a ‘chavalanche’
Look at me, droppin’ mi’ aitches…
Is there a good time of year to visit England? And is is best to dress in layers?
Of armour? Yes.
Ace,
I think there’s a wedding coming up in a few weeks. Want to crash it?
(But don’t bring Owen Wilson. He’s a dick.)
Wedding? Really?
Have I missed something.
Best time to visit England is when we’re fighting Germans. You then get a kind of ‘Eurozone’ pass that allows you to wander all round Ye Olde Worlde. Or fly over it. Strafing. French girls also kiss you lots when you arrive in Paris. Bring Nylons. And, you know . . . don’t be late.
BroMu,
Don’y bring that up or they’ll ask where we were in Indo-China. Then we’ll have to explain that there was to an all Vietnam Election was due but……………drones on………and on……..and on………………………..and no Apple equipment was involved.
I feel the more fundamental question is: Singapore – WTF?
Yes but that was because they attacked from an ungentlemanly direction.
On bikes.
And across a golf course and tennis courts.
The cads.
Dang I need to pull this out of the RSS feed and put it back into my daily check. It doesn’t update for the longest time and then tells me there are a ton new comments.
A U.S. ton or a metric tonne?
I’d have expected the recent comments to weigh in at about three grams max,
Hang on, Steve. I think I saw a post about that somewhere…
Should not Steve have asked, U.S. Ton, Metric Tonne, The Long Ton or the Pre Imperial Ton?
All these tons are placing a weight on my head.
Anybody know a reliable Stevedore to help remove it?
I think this board needs to lighten up.
…
Comedy gold, my friend.
Well Brother does that mean we all need to go on diets?
Bro Mu might be talking bleach.
Can’t Del design some stomach gnawers that eat the excess of whatever we eat.
Maybe tame tape worms?
I’ll just take some “Charlie Sheen.”
That should cure any and all of my problems, real or imagined.
Talking or taking, Ace?
Well at least you new problems Steve should be more interesting.
allright who leaked pictures of my new experiment?

So that’s why the milk and honey supply in Michigan is depleted. Is your cat fur allergy giving you the hives? Here’s the reason!
It’s a common misconception that bees *eat* honey, rather than making it, Ace.
In fact, bees eat pizza, dandelions, and mains electricity (often in the form of transformer sub-stations), the last of which gives them their characteristic ‘buzz’ sound (at around 230-250 Hz)
BroMu,
That should be 240 or 250Hz as the accepted alternating mains current distribution and it must be AC as you stipulated transformer sub-stations, are 50 or 60 hz which must be regulated within strict limits.
Damn. Just realised when you wrote sub-stations as in underwater. Does that mean those BeeCats can swim?
Just when you were afraid to go in the water…
Damn you mean they got the bee cat scuba gear as well? We are doomed.
The transformer sub-stations are aquatic bee-cats in disguise!
Worse: tap-dancing aquatic bee-cats!
And hear ye: I’m offering the 5,000th comment spot to the highest bidder. Any takers?
I bid the Mantooth of a Rex!
Ace: Could be worse. Could be Riverdancing bee-cats.
BroMu: I bid actor Randolph Mantooth and raise you a Kevin Tighe.
It’s getting near the jump so I’m out of here unless I can train CatBees to help me to float gently down.
Raise you one Audie Murphy and a Jane Russell, well coffin really.
I raise you one Evel (zombie) Knievel.
For his ‘jump clearance’ experience.
And the groovy leathers.
For sheer coolness, I raise one Steve McQueen.
…and… jump!
Where’d everybody go? It’s lonely here on the hundred-and-first page.
It looks like PETMAC (People for the ethical treatment of mutants and chimeras) freed a bunch of creatures from my lab ;(
Another has been seen in the wild.

Does wearing a cat mask offer any protection from these cat critters, as I believe you cousins refer to them?
I think some of them might have been seen in our high street also.
In fact, I think I went out with one.
