  1. Aaack! We’ve been invaded by parrots! (Post immediately following mine.)

Oooh, and I think I should call that number and give them my Social Security number, several credit card numbers, and bank account information. Maybe I’ll be helping some “poor” Nigerian prince.

  2. Aaack! We’ve been invaded by parrots! Aaack! Aaack!

We’ve been invaded by parrots! We’ve been invaded by parrots!
    Aaack!

Put your crackers in the hat! Put your crackers in the hat! Aaack!

  3. Don’t worry. I called the guy and helped him install Vista on his computer. I don’t think he’ll be bothering anyone anytime soon.

    MWAAAHHHHAAAAA

Do you guys think I’m getting too evil? Now that I think about it I don’t think anyone deserves the horror of Vista.

  4. As Labor (sic) Day is approaching, may we Euros wish you a happy holiday.

Must admit that we are amazed and puzzled by the way you arrange for everyone in the States to be born on Labor Day, as that can be the only explanation for the title.

  5. Hey CARS posted me as Anonymous 🙁

The new iTunes is shiny but the 3 vertical buttons for close, resize, minimize are freaking me out. It is almost as bad as if they had given the window sharp corners.

  6. Yeah, it did that to me a while back, Del. I think John is trying to anonymise us.

    Fruity little scamp.

Surely said Day was named, with considerable foresight it has to be said, in honour of the current Labour leadership elections, Nxxx? Which are apparently going on . . . er . . . now . . . somewhere.

How come the Dumbleby’s aren’t doing an all-nighter on it, hmmm?

  7. He’s a tramp, isn’t he?

He did my all-night Risk extravaganza too.

Drank like a (Michael) Fish. Was slurring his way through ‘Kamchatka’ by midnight. And kept goading me to invade the MIddle East.

  8. What frightens me is that Tony Blair is all that stands between us and the terrorists. One of these days he’s going to get drowsy and fall asleep — then it’s curtains for us.

  9. Tone, Bliar or Teflon as he is known over here is a good, Bwitish Public Schoolboy, Fettes actually. Therefore we will always beat the Taliban and Al Quaeda at Rugby Union and enjoy a good drink with the chaps afterwards. So have no fear, Ace.

  10. Why didn’t we just embed Cherie’s teeth around out base in Afghanistan? Sort of our ‘white [enamel] zone’? I’d like to have seen Johnny Taliban drive through those in a hurry.

  11. It’s interesting that some PMs seem to become more noble and dignified once out of office and with age . . . while others start to look increasingly like their Scarfe caricature.

  12. Not just politicians. Can’t distinguish between the Scarfe, the Fluke and Law and Clapham Junction track layout and the real Keith Richards.

  13. Perhaps the caricaturists are actually wizards who determine how people look via their drawings. Scary thought, but it would explain the lot.

  14. That’s why art and dogs are banned in Croydon. The problem is that everyone looks the same, so you have to be careful when pulling.

  15. Hey I’m ok with the dogs and the rats, but some of my best friends are moose…. or really moose combined with other creatures.

  16. Here we go again, pirates don’t fight fair.

Most pirate ships were co-operatives and yes they did pay dividends No, not Horniman’s. That’s a UK only joke

That’s what baffles me about American politics. The Tea Party approve of the acquisitive nature of the pirates but reject the socialist side of classic pirate ship culture with their agreed mutual rates for death or injury.

Pick the bones out of that, just a bit heavy for a Mega-Post post.
