  1. Let’s not talk about the length of any other appendages that Del might have engineered into a giant dwarf.

  2. BroMu,
Although we cultured Brits refer to a truncheon, our Cousins over the Pond use the rather unsavoury tern, nightstick. As a stick can be used as a club, are you suggesting that this giant dwarf was encased in a truncheon?

    My brain hurts, Brian.

  3. We just ran out of gas, or perhaps petrol. Geothermal might be a better way to power this puppy. Some of the tunnels go deep enough.

  4. ‘Del *made* a puppy’

Other than the Mafia meaning, doesn’t that carry other connotations over your side of the pond?

See, we may have ground to a halt momentarily, but the smut’s still hot to trot.

    Not that puppys trot.

    That was something entirely different.

    Aaaaanyway….

  5. Hmmm….

I suppose that sometimes a pear is just a pear, though I don’t really know what else it could be. The shape is problematic for multiple uses.

  6. The only known things about Pears, is that they still make soap, not sure about the Cyclopædia, Pepys never mentioned them in his Diaries but did in his Dairies.

  7. No, those would be Peaches.

    Mashed Peaches.

    Too much?

I mean, I know technically it as an anti-Nazi march in Southall, but the pear/peach link was too strong to resist.

  8. Don’t woryr about it. I’m frequenty embare-assed by tpyos. People will understand what you meant, usually.

  9. Have you noticed that all Johns, whatever their qualifying number, only post “Aloha”?

    Are they really Hawaiian?

  10. Good news in the UK this morning.

All English Counties except Kent, have a resident otter population.

BroMu, please ask your Men of Kent and Kentish Men to stop eating them.

  11. My wife loves otters.

I even adopted one for her.

But they *still* wouldn’t let us eat it.

That’s what’s wrong with this country, right there.

  12. Raccoon and bear recipes are easily adapted for panda, but you ought not to eat an otter. Or a potto. Or a lemur. Koalas are okay, but don’t let the children know or they’ll freak out. Same for guinea pigs.

You didn’t hear this from me, capisce?

  13. I’m thinking of going into advertising. In view of this topic, may I ask your opinions on, and I admit a lot is stolen:-

    A million housewives everyday,
Pick up a Heinz tin and say
    “Lemurs make stronger femurs.”

    Pretty good, eh?

  14. See, I told you I was coming over here.

Now, if I could just think of something crass…

    Hmmm…

    ………………

    …………………..

Where’s Motlz when you need him, eh…?

  15. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We still have Hallowe’en to take care of. My costume is shaping up quite nicely, but I’ve used up all the local stores of red-colored Jell-O, and I’m not nearly big enough.
