Nothing. Nadda. Zip. Zilch.

You know, I’d feel bad about us not getting a post together tonight, but I know for a fact that you just come here for the comments anyway, so it’s no big deal.

Anyway, you’ve got the whole weekend ahead of you and a wad of cash in your sweaty little fist (which is all covered in Cheeto dust), so maybe you could dump a little of it on one of our fine advertisers.

There’s Rogue Amoeba. They make good stuff. Although Kafasis tried to kill me that one time.

Well, there’s also Delicious Monster. The things they can do with an iSight camera. Tell you what. Although Shipley did call me a… well, let’s just say he said I like to do something to dogs that I don’t. Totally. I mean… really. I don’t even know how that would work.

Anyway, that brings us to our new advertisers: Shiny White Box and Many Tricks. They also make boss software and so far neither of their CEOs has tried to kill me or accused me of being into bestiality.

Of course, we’ve only just met so…

I should probably give them some time.

Do you think Gruber has this kind of relationship with his advertisers?

  1. Okay, I’ll break them all in half and divide the count by two. Thanks for your input.

  2. Ace,
Beware! Not only do you have to cut them in half but it will be necessary to trim them all to identical length and number them.
Whether to number them consecutively or to use “A” and “B” suffixes or even prefixes is debatable and it could be argued that the latter was Alphabetical Sorting. Suggest not using Hexadecimal Notation as I can never remember what comes after “D”.

  3. Instead of numbering the matchsticks, wouldn’t it be better to carbon-date them then they can be ordered by age? I think that would be a more precise determinant or order and sorting.

  4. Yay I can help. I’m good with fire things.

*Del blasts matchsticks with an iFlame*

Awwwww 🙁 there isn’t any matchsticks left to count… or walls or eyebrows

  6. How can you celebrate Friday 13th?

Non-Yanks certainly acknowledge the day. Remember once stayed in bed all day. Bloody chimney fell through roof and broke left leg.

Changed my mind yesterday, went to local greasy spoon for brekkers. Sick all day.

Funny thing is one Italian motorcycle racer always insisted on plate thirteen.

  7. How do you celebrate Friday the 13th? What the hell planet did I land on?

We just kill and collect dead black cats throughout the year and display them on our Friday the 13th tree. Doesn’t everyone?

Killing cats from the neighborhood is all the fun.

  8. On April 19th we celebrate “middle of spring” by framing a Methodist minister in the brutal and bloody dual murders of his wife, favorite prostitute, and mistress.

Wait until you see what we have cooked up for May.

    Yeah, I meant dual.

  9. I’ve stopped celebrating–I can’t keep up with all the essential observances, such as:

April 16–Wilbur Wright’s Birthday, National Eggs Benedict Day
April 17–National Cheeseball Day, Daffy Duck Debuted in Warner Brothers Cartoon, 1937
April 18–Look-Alike Day, International Juggler’s Day, National Animal Crackers Day
    April 19–Garlic Day
April 20–National Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Day
April 21–Railroad 1st Crossed the Mississippi River
April 22–National Jelly Bean Day, Earth Day

Actually, on Earth day I might take my annual mud bath.

  10. Wow! 738, the square root of 54,644, how special! I think I’ll celebrate that, there’s nothing around where I’m at worth celebrating. I forsee a really great bing ahead.

  11. Whoops, I meant binge, damn those final e’s. Though a bing might be interesting.

  12. K.T.D.,
Can we join in your bing?
Off we go, Doo be doo be doo ad infinitum. Must admit I never heard him sing ‘ad infinitum’, but you’ve got the idea.
Lucky he has snuffed it, or it would be breach of copyright.

  13. Inverted Garlic Cake, sounds a bit topsy-turvy to me, but if there is any left (or right for that matter) save me a fragment.}

  14. And I’ll have to pass on the Garlic Upside-down Cake. I’m having to limit my garlic intake in order to minimize gastric distress. And that’s all I have to say about that.

I do have some Butterscotch Fantastic, if anyone’s interested in a helping….

  15. Sorry Doc,
You have to pee seven times in public before witnesses before claiming that.

  16. Perhaps we should consult a numeralogists before estabilshing the next milestone. Has anyone run across one down in the tunnels? I’d hate to jinx the terapost with an unlucky or inappropriate milestone.

  17. There’s no telling what’s down in the tunnels by now.

It’s certainly possible that a numerologist or three might be down there.

  18. On my last tunnel excursion (or incursion) I saw a numerologist, a numeralogist, a numeral-ologist, a numb ologist, a number ologist, and the numbest ologist you ever did see. That’s six right there if I’ve got my numbers right.

  19. Ace, I don’t know whether you’ve got your numbers right, but I’ve become comfortably numb.

  20. Hey, any of you goobers good at Photoshop? If so, contact me. I need your help for a practical joke.

  21. Mr. Moltz, I’m way good at Photoshop. But why don’t you ask the winner of that contest you had last year?

  22. John, I’m not particularly good at Photoshop (but then, I’m not a goober either).

However, my brother-in-law is a Photoshop god, being as he is a graphic designer (he’s the graphic designer for a TV station, and he freelances as well). Let me know if you want me to contact him.

  23. Moltz, I have Photoshop, I can do things in Photoshop that I am satisfied with, but, am I good? Well that is a rather subjective term. What might be good to one person may be a flaming pile of demon excrement (unpleasant to most if not all of the five senses) to the next person. So please, in the future be a little more precise in your requests.

PS. I doubt seriously I’m the one you need, I’d go with the Photoshop god from the previous post.^

  24. I can do thing in Photoshop that are unaesthetic and difficult to categorize. So far I’ve been unable to do anything useful, though.

  25. OK, well, here’s what I need and if anyone want to give it a try and send it to me, great.

I need a cute, monochromatic furball. Sort of like a tribble, but one color, preferably white. I think I can do the rest.

  26. Hey John, I found something in my fridge that matches that description, except it’s green.

Want me to mail it to you?

  27. I’ve sent John a picture of something I saw at the Easter egg hunt. Might’ve been road kill, except it wasn’t flat and it was in the middle of the baseball field. It didn’t smell like road kill either, not that I’m an expert or anything.

  28. Well, I hope the milestones pass easier than,…, oh say kidneystones, (I’ve had enough of those to pave a walkway from my house to my carport), or gaulstones, (no personal experience here, but I hear their kind of nasty), What other kind of stones are out there?
