LONG LIVE THE MEGA-POST!
You should be able to view it again, but Masako had to shut off the comments at…

She had to delete one spam comment to get it viewable again (link).
Please, let’s hear a big round of applause for all of you who posted in the Mega-Post and kept it alive for a year and four months. Please use this comment thread to post your fondest memories of the post with the most…
the Mega-Post.
I often pick up a bunch and wonder “Wot’s this keyser for?”.
The passing of David Bowie reminded me of the time we tried to spring Nxxx from Dartmoor with a raft of balloons and lauched him (and the prison) into orbit. It was a quite risky escapade, and I’m glad he made it back in one piece.
I can’t remember if we ever gave the corpsicle of Major Tom to the British Museum…
We reanimated it as Vanessa Redgrave, Ace.
RUBBISH!
She’s got a better beard.
I’m concerned that if the UK “bans” Trump, it will start a worldwide trend and we won’t be able to get rid of him (or Sarah Palin, either). Any suggestions on where to send him?
Combe Haven?
Which is of course a trucation of Ye Olde English for ‘Comb-over Heaven’.
Watch it BroMu,just because you have a load of barnet.
Guys,
Sexbots in the news.
Malaysia banned a proposed Conference on “Love and Sex with Robots” according to Free Malaysia Today.
It will probably be held in London but I shall not be attending as cannot recall what sex is.
I believe sex is what got us into this global mess in the first place. If stupid people could find something better to do, the population would eventually stop rising and the average IQ would go up.
Actually, providing sexbots to stupid people might be the ticket…
I think you’re onto something there, Ace. Because every time I ask my wife if she fancies having sex, she says ‘What do you think, stupid?’
But why does she look at me when she asks that question?
Lordy! I didn’t know she could crane her neck round that far.
. . .
That’s just wrong. I apologise.
. . .
What am I thinking? This is the Gig-gig-giggity Post.
Well, I think the whole sexbot theme has run its course for now, and it’s time to move on to the next “internet of things” subject. I propose that we try to nail down the feature list for the foodbot. Let’s start with a short menu for the initial launch. I would like to see a grilled cheese sandwich as one of the options. What other essential items should be available at launch time (or lunch time, if you prefer)?
Bacon butties. With ketchup, rather than HP (controversial over here, that).
Well, that prompted me to look up the history of HP Sauce, and it’s three minutes of my life I will never get back. The version for the US market could show the Capitol Building, but as Congress is generally thought to be nonfunctional at this time, it might seriously dampen sales.
BroMu,
It’s got to be Daddy’s Sauce, whether veggie or not.
Ah, so you’re slightly-spicier are you, Nxxx. I’ve always supped at the Heinz teat myself, but generally through habit rather than for reasons of taste. Although I did notice when my wife tried to sneak some Sainsburys own into a used Heinz bottle, the little minx (spends too much time watching ‘Eat Well For Less’ with shiny shaved man-chimp Greg Wallace, when her time would be better spent scourging the supermarket shelves for cheap chocolate and Mr Kippling pies . . . mmmm, pies . . . ).
PS: And thanks, Ace. Now *I’ve* spent three minutes wiki-clicking HP too . . .
Could the LunchBot (TM) also make a grilled cheese with bacon?
I wouldn’t want to confuse it…
I’m not privy to the details, but I expect it would either scan and store the specifications for a particular foodstuff to be “printed” later, or produce the goods from a recipe. And third-party developers could provide all sorts of possibilities, perhaps only limited by what raw materials are put in the hopper.
I would like to say “Hey Siri, can you throw something together on a Saint Patrick’s theme for 8 pm to serve a party of five?” and have it “just work.”
Given my culinary skills, I would like to say “Hey Siri, can you throw something together on a beans-on-toast theme to serve me sometime in the next half hour without triggering the smoke alarm or filling the entire kitchen with gunked cookware.”
BroMu.
See that BoJo has been keeping his two banned water canons near Gravesend.
Are you really that dangerous?
I hadn’t, but I suspect they’re down on the fake town the Met built on Denton marshes so SC019 can practise shooting up WHSmith should it ever fall into the hands of jihadist pamphleteers.
They’ve probably stored the cannons there as a potential solution to our status as Blighty’s greatest of Great Unwashed Masses.
Is a water cannon similar to an iFlume? And is it any match for an iFlame?
So what happens if the Great Unwashed Masses get washed by the aforementioned water cannons? Are they thenceforth the Great Washed Masses? Or merely the Great Masses?
There is a probable typographical error; “Great” should read “Grate”.
It’s actually a genotypical error. As a trip to our local Aldi could attest.
Friends, it’s been too long.
Aeons, maybe.
Just a thought … it is the custom when it snows to make a snow man or a snow angel, but when it rains, what are we to make of it?
Whatever it is, it’ll be bad. Definitely bad.
In Britain . . . conversation.
BroMu,
What’s that?
I’m not entirely sure, but I think it’s what you use to plug the gaps between small talk and crushing ennui.
I’ve become “Anonymous”.
Is that because of a lack of conversation?
I’d have thought we’d all want to take that route, Nxxx, lest our association with this site inhibit our chances in life.
You know, those awesome chances we still have ahead of us.
Anyone . . . anyone . . . ?
I’m not too concerned about my association with this site, because (and I know you will find this hard to believe)I have not been using my real identity.
I’m really nothing like the character I play here. In real life, I am much smarter, have many more friends, and have more money than I know what to do with. Yet there are assassins constantly trying to put an end to my idyll. What have I done to offend them? Maybe it was the limericks.
Mr. Moltz Sir, that Ace Deuce has been cheating and he is really Donald J. Trump.
And I’m Ace’s hair.
I insist that I am neither Trump nor Drumpf — Forrest Gump is a tad bit closer to the mark.
Sadly, I have been called “chump,” which I believe is even more derogatory than “chimp.”
Whew!
What a relief.
Have their been any signs of Del lately? I think we need to borrow some critters to clear the tunnels of the spammers and druggies again.
My guess is that, unlike Peter Pan, Del grew up.
Our loss, her gain…
If Del grew up, what does that say or mean or imply (or whatever) about us??
I had my chance when I was younger. I’m too old to grow up now.
I’m growing down intellectually, out physically, and in toe-nailally.
I’m like a dodgy Picasso.
Perhaps a Pissedcasso.
cool site this one
Yes, Joan, the heating’s broken down again.
Will you please call for repairs? All the strangers that come around here seem only to want to sell us drugs. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but we would prefer the heating being fixed right now.
In a pinch, we can pull a few iFlames out of storage and set them to “Simmer.”
